"Insomnia";
1998-2008; this installation at Islip Art Museum Carriage House;
approx. 18 x20 feet; 500 sugar beds, pink tornado super-8 film
projection on voile fabric walls, window transparencies.
This piece was re-created several times over the years for different
spaces. Because of the ephemeral nature of the sugar beds, the beds
were recreated for each space.
