This
edition is related to
the temporary
installation "Insomnia"
originally made of
500 sugar beds, created
and shown 1997-2003, and
re-created in 2008.
These porcelain beds are
a permanent version of the
sugar ones, which no
longer exist.
Each
edition consists of the
4 hand-sculpted and
hand-glazed porcelain
lacy bed, each piece
approximately 2.5 x 3
inches.All
of the pieces have
variations due to the
fact that they were each
made individually by
hand and that the firing
process is organic.
